App Store screenshot generator
Upload your iPhone and iPad captures, pick a layout, and write your captions once. Appure frames every device, translates the captions, and exports the exact sizes App Store Connect accepts.
Free for one app · No credit card · First export in about 5 minutes

How it works
- 1
Upload your screens
Drop in raw captures from the simulator, emulator or a real device.
- 2
Pick a layout and write captions
Choose a template, add a caption per screenshot, and translate them all at once.
- 3
Export the whole set
Download every required size for every language, ready to upload.
Exported at the sizes App Store Connect asks for
Apple only requires the largest iPhone and the largest iPad, and scales them down for every smaller device. Appure exports those, plus the 6.5-inch set if you want to tailor older iPhones.
| Asset | Size (px) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone 6.9″ | 1320 × 2868 · 1290 × 2796 | Required. Covers every current iPhone |
| iPhone 6.5″ | 1284 × 2778 · 1242 × 2688 | Only needed if you skip the 6.9″ set |
| iPad 13″ | 2064 × 2752 · 2048 × 2732 | Required if your app runs on iPad |
| Landscape | Any of the above, rotated | Portrait or landscape, per device |
Every dimension for both stores is on the screenshot sizes reference.

26+ languages in one click
Write a caption once and Appure translates it into every language the store supports. No translators, no copy-paste.
30+ layouts
Captions above, devices angled, or a panorama across two screenshots. Start from a proven arrangement, then make it yours.
Portrait and landscape
Both orientations for every device. Toggle one option and export.
Your fonts and colors
16+ built-in fonts or upload your own, plus solid, gradient or image backgrounds, shadows and annotations.
Per device and language
Different captures per market? Upload any combination of device and language and Appure keeps them matched.
What makes App Store screenshots convert
The editor handles the sizes. These are the decisions that are still yours.
Win the first three
In App Store search results people see your first screenshots (three in portrait) before they ever open your page. Put your strongest benefit in screenshot one.
One idea per screenshot, readable at thumbnail size
A short caption of a few words, in a large weight, survives being shrunk to a search-result thumbnail. A paragraph does not.
Localize the captions, not just the store text
Each App Store localization gets its own screenshots, up to 10 per device size. Translated captions let a German or Japanese user read the pitch in their language.

App Store screenshot generator FAQ
What size should App Store screenshots be?+
Upload the 6.9-inch iPhone size (1320 × 2868 or 1290 × 2796 px) and, if your app runs on iPad, the 13-inch iPad size (2064 × 2752 or 2048 × 2732 px). App Store Connect scales them down for every smaller device. Appure exports both sets automatically.
How many screenshots can I upload to the App Store?+
Up to 10 screenshots and 3 app preview videos per device size, per localization. You need at least one, but most apps use 5 to 10 and put the strongest message first.
Can I make App Store screenshots without Figma or Photoshop?+
Yes. Appure runs in the browser: upload raw captures, pick one of 30+ layouts, add captions, and export. No design tool or size chart needed.
Does it translate the captions?+
Yes. Write a caption once and Appure translates it into 26+ languages, then exports a full screenshot set per language so each App Store localization gets its own.
Is the App Store screenshot generator free?+
It is free for one app, with no credit card. Plus is $9/month for every feature and language across up to 10 apps.
