Every screenshot dimension both stores accept, in one place — exact pixel sizes, which ones are required, aspect ratios, and formats for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Verified against Apple and Google’s 2026 specs.
The short version
You really only need two sizes: a 6.9″ iPhone screenshot (1290 × 2796 or 1320 × 2868 px) and a 13″ iPad screenshot (2048 × 2732 or 2064 × 2752 px). The App Store scales them down for every smaller device automatically. On Google Play, one set of phone screenshots between 320–3840 px covers everything.

App Store Connect
Drag up to 3 app previews and 10 screenshots here for iPad 12.9" or 13" displays. (2064 × 2752px, 2752 × 2064px, 2048 × 2732px or 2732 × 2048px)
That is the 13-inch iPad slot. Export portrait at 2064 × 2752 or 2048 × 2732 px (or the landscape flip). Any other size is rejected.
App Store Connect
Screenshots dimensions should be: 1242 × 2688px, 2688 × 1242px, 1284 × 2778px or 2778 × 1284px
That is the 6.5-inch iPhone slot. It only appears when you don't upload 6.9-inch screenshots. Either export at 1284 × 2778 / 1242 × 2688 px, or upload the 6.9-inch size (1320 × 2868 or 1290 × 2796) and let Apple scale it down.

The dimensions of one or more screenshots are wrong.
At least one file in the set is off by even a single pixel, or was saved at the wrong orientation. Check each file against the tables above; a status-bar crop or a 72 vs 144 dpi export are the usual culprits.
App Store Connect (Review Information)
Review screenshot for an in-app purchase or subscription
This one is for App Review only and is never shown on your listing. Upload a plain capture of the purchase screen, at least 640 × 920 px for iOS.
Google Play Console
Your feature graphic must be a PNG or JPEG, up to 15 MB, and 1,024 px by 500 px
Export exactly 1024 × 500 px as JPEG or 24-bit PNG with no transparency. A PNG with an alpha channel fails even at the right size.

Screenshots must be PNG or JPEG, up to 8 MB each, 16:9 or 9:16 aspect ratio, with each side between 320 px and 3,840 px
Use a 9:16 phone size such as 1080 × 1920 or 1440 × 2560 px. Taller modern ratios (19.5:9) break the 2× rule, so pad or crop them to 9:16.

What size should App Store screenshots be?+
Upload the 6.9-inch iPhone size at 1290 × 2796 px or 1320 × 2868 px, and the 13-inch iPad size at 2048 × 2732 px or 2064 × 2752 px. Since 2024 these are the only required sizes — App Store Connect auto-scales them down for every smaller iPhone and iPad.
Do I have to upload every iPhone and iPad size?+
No. You only need the largest iPhone (6.9-inch) and the largest iPad (13-inch). Apple automatically generates the smaller sizes from them. You can still upload specific smaller sizes if you want to tailor the design for those devices.
What size are Google Play screenshots?+
Each side must be between 320 px and 3840 px, and the longer side can be at most twice the shorter side (roughly 16:9 or 9:16). Use JPEG or 24-bit PNG with no transparency, and upload at least 2 screenshots (up to 8).
What is the Google Play feature graphic size?+
The feature graphic must be exactly 1024 × 500 px, as a JPEG or 24-bit PNG with no transparency. It's required for every Google Play listing.
What file formats do store screenshots need?+
The App Store accepts PNG or JPEG. Google Play accepts JPEG or 24-bit PNG with no alpha channel. In both stores, use the sRGB color space and avoid transparency.
